Murder conviction upheld for Minn. man

ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 47) -- The Minnesota Supreme Court has upheld the conviction of the man who murdered an Owatonna woman.

Ryan Hurd of Eagan was sentenced to life in prison for stabbing his girlfriend, Kathryn Anderson, more than 100 times in 2009.

Authorities later arrested Hurd in Tulsa, Okla.

His trial was held in Steele County last year.
