No injuries in school bus crash near Chatfield

NEAR CHATFIELD, Minn. (FOX 47) -- No students were injured when a school bus slid into a power pole Thursday morning on Old Territorial Road near Chatfield.

Chatfield School Superintendent, Edward Harris, says the accident happened around 8 a.m.

Between 12 and 18 elementary students were on board.

Another bus brought the students to school, and they were all evaluated by a nurse before going to class.

Harris says the bus first went into the ditch and then came to a rest at the power pole.

The road was snow-packed where the accident occurred.
