As a potent storm system slowly pulls away from the region, we're continuing to deal with some rather raw and blustery conditions and even some snow showers today. We'll have just ornamental snow this morning, falling in the form of light snow showers and flurries from thick, gray clouds on the back side of that system. Even with some sunshine later today, temperatures won't move up much nor will our wind chill indices improve much as northwest winds will make it feel like the 20s and lower 30s with gusts to 25 and even 30 miles per hour possible. Those winds will subside tonight a bit, and although a flurry or two may be seen, it'll be a quieter night with lows in the 20s and partly cloudy skies. Warmer air will quickly return tomorrow with gusty southwest winds and sunny skies working to warm us to the 50° mark with the possibility of mid 50s in the forecast for Saturday.
