Internet Director

Our new Internet Director is a high-energy web site champion who understands Internet technology, can produce compelling online content and contributes through hands-on development and management of the station’s website.

Ideal candidates are self starters who work well with minimal supervision, are flexible, and thrive in a deadline driven environment. A college degree in Journalism or related field is preferred but not required.

The Internet Director will teach and coach others to participate in the station’s web efforts, drive our online audience growth strategy through news and marketing initiatives, and be challenged to build on a strong foundation with tremendous growth opportunities. The chosen candidate will present updates on web site efforts in department head meetings.

This is a newly created position that will work closely with the station’s news, promotion and advertising staff.

Qualified applicants will have demonstrable on-air skills, strong writing skills, the ability to tell good and visual stories and to deliver them in a compelling manner.
