FINALE CONCERT... Eric Alberts of Mason City, Iowa. Eric was named the FOX 47 Idol winner Tuesday, August 12th at the Finale Concert at Cinemagic Chateau Theatre in Rochester. He was discovered by FOX 47 and St. Mary's University after local auditions at Saint Mary's University in Winona, at the North Iowa Fair and in Rochester. We're hoping that Eric is the next singing sensation!
Finalists from the local auditions are performed Tuesday, August 12 ... 7pm at Cinemagic Chateau Theatre, 3450 East Circle Drive NE in Rochester. Our awesome spot lights were provided by Spectrum Pro Audio in Rochester. They performed with music in front of a live audience and Eric was chosen. He receives a guaranteed audition in front of American Idol producers ... Tuesday, August 19th in East Rutherford, NJ - IZOD Center at the Meadowlands Sports Complex. Hotel provided by Holiday Inn South in Rochester and travel by Saint Mary's University.

MASON CITY FINALISTS ANNOUNCED! Click HERE to check out who moved on. Auditions for MASON CITY were Thursday, July 24 at North Iowa Fair. Sponsored in part by Leading Edge Ford of Osage, IA and Design Homes of Clear Lake, IA. People came out and watched as Star 106's own Harry O judged again this year. Harry O knows his music. Joe Malone also came out. Joe definitely is an Idol expert!
